The first prototype of the Semantic Editor is working and demos are available. The prototype showed the weakening of the first draft of the architecture. The lessons learned are integrated in the current architecture, but may change until the first release.
Integrated software components
Currently we use following software components:
- rdfQuery
- autosuggest (interaction component: autotagging, exchangeable)
- Aloha Editor (interaction component: Editor, exchangeable)
- Apache Stanbol (service: SPARQL endpoint, exchangeable)
That is extremely interesting! Is this the place to follow development? I’d be happy to help test in a Drupal 7 environment.

this implementation is in https://github.com/alohaeditor/Aloha-Plugin-Annotations. A checkout of https://github.com/alohaeditor/Aloha-Editor (master) should offer you a running example.
